He has been cutting hair for over 26 years and he is a master barber in 4 states. Tarrod specializes in cutting every type of hair which sets him apart from other barbers. Because Tarrod can work on any hair texture, he is able to connect with a wide variety of people and positively impact his community. His favorite part of owning his business is talking to his customers and having enjoyable conversations that make them smile. Dobbins’ advice to young people who want to own a business is to know what you want and to learn the ropes. He advises aspiring entrepreneurs to get to know the competition and find ways to separate themselves in order to stand out. Tarrod has always been self employed, so owning his own barber business was the next step for him.
