Shop Local this Holiday Season

Updated: Nov 28, 2022

Small Business Saturday is just around the corner, and the gift-giving festivities will be here before you know it! This holiday season, ditch the Black Friday crowds at Target, and the Amazon ads that will get you to buy more than you needed to. Instead, support your local entrepreneurs and small businesses! By shopping locally, you're ensuring that the dollars you spend go back into your community, your purchase will produce significantly fewer carbon emissions, and will mean a great deal more to the shop owner! To make it easier to support small businesses near you, we've compiled (and are still adding to!) a list of holiday markets and gift guides across the Shenandoah Valley!

Northern Valley

  • Windepdent Weekend in Downtown Winchester

    • Check out Old Town Winchester from November 25th-27th for extended hours and special offers at local stores.

  • Fa la la la la Shop Local Passport Game

    • Shop local in New Market and collect “passport” stamps for a prize! Participation is open from December 3rd to the 9th.

Central Valley

Southern Valley
