Want to get involved with entrepreneur support in the Shenandoah Valley ecosystem? Join us for our next Regional Coalition meeting!

The Regional Coalition is a group of people who want to see small businesses and startup entrepreneurs in the Shenandoah Valley thrive. As volunteers, we champion and advocate for them in three ways:

1. Remove barriers to access to entrepreneurial support by sharing what opportunities are available to business owners throughout the Valley. We hope that by sharing what's happening in different parts, we'll be better able to help entrepreneurs navigate the support available to them. We have a digital map of the support ecosystem called Valley Business Compass and my colleague Nick Koger is our Ecosystem Navigator - here to help all entrepreneurs - from idea to established - find their way through the ecosystem.

2. Hear from entrepreneurs what challenges they face and actively work toward addressing them. Working groups work on these pipeline projects throughout the year and report back at our regional coalition meetings every 6 months (see below for the latest update).

3. Region-wide storytelling. We gather stories about entrepreneurs and accomplices to craft a positive, forward-looking narrative about starting and running a business in the Shenandoah Valley.

This meeting is open to anyone interested in getting involved. Want to learn more? Contact our Director of Ecosystem Building, Anika Horn, at
